According to the city administration, on January 29, Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, along with the head of the Culture Department, Urmat Belekbaev, visited the new rehearsal space.
“Today, this rehearsal hall has become a true creative base for several ensembles of the Bishkek city administration. The large symphony orchestra, brass band, and folk instruments orchestra regularly practice here,” the administration noted.
Rehearsals are conducted according to a set schedule, allowing musicians to continuously improve their skills and prepare new concert programs. Previously, the orchestras had to rent spaces for their rehearsals, but now they have all the conditions for development and strengthening the cultural potential of the city,” the municipality added.
We remind you that in 2023, the city administration planned to demolish the "Dubrovsky" restaurant building; however, its owner decided to transfer it to municipal ownership. The value of the property amounted to 48.5 million soms.
As a result, in accordance with the agreement, the city administration received the restaurant building with a total area of about 500 sq. m, as well as the return of a previously rented land plot of 0.37 hectares. In response, the municipality promised the tenants to provide another piece of land.
