At the new livestock market in the suburbs of Bishkek, the rules of slaughter according to Sharia were explained
In the suburbs of Bishkek, a meeting was held at the new livestock market, organized by representatives of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan. The event discussed the requirements of Sharia concerning the slaughter of animals, reports the press service of the Muftiate.
Experts from the Spiritual Administration acquainted butchers with the basic norms of humane treatment of animals. They explained in detail the slaughter process using a sharp knife, which should be done in one motion. It was also emphasized that the trachea, esophagus, and jugular veins must be cut, and the blood must completely drain. Each slaughter must be accompanied by the invocation of Allah's name.

Additionally, attention was drawn to the importance of adhering to sanitary standards: cleanliness of premises, sterility of tools, and proper storage conditions for meat are necessary.
Public figure Duyshon Abdyldaev noted that there are penalties for cruel treatment of animals.
The management of the new market reported ongoing improvements in slaughter conditions and sanitary standards. Butchers were handed out brochures with information, and an informational banner displaying the rules of Sharia was installed on the premises.
