Large Marinka has started to be caught in the BCHK
Fishermen note that specimens weighing up to one kilogram are encountered.
According to experienced anglers, the main difficulty when fishing in the BCC lies in the strong current. It is important to choose the right spot for fishing and position oneself so that the current does not carry the bait and tackle away.
As bait, fishermen recommend using bread crumbs formed into a ball and soaked in an attractant — a substance with a pronounced aroma that attracts fish.
The common marinka is a fish that inhabits the mountain rivers and lakes of Central Asia, well adapted to life in fast currents. In Kyrgyzstan, it can be found in the Naryn River and its tributaries, as well as in Chatkal, Sary-Chelek, Sary-Jaz, and the Toktogul Reservoir.
This fish can reach sizes of up to 70 cm in length and weigh over 3 kg.
