The premiere is expected in August 2026
The National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm" has begun work on a feature film dedicated to Jusuп Abdrakhmanov, who is one of the founders of Kyrgyz statehood. This information was announced by the Ministry of Culture.
Currently, filming is taking place in Moscow, where the team is working at the Moskino film park. This event is particularly significant for Kyrgyz cinema, as local filmmakers are shooting a film in this well-known park for the first time.
Famous actors from Russia are present at the filming in Moscow, as well as a guest actor from Kazakhstan.
The national premiere of the film is scheduled for August 2026. It will coincide with several important events: the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kyrgyz ASSR, and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Jusuп Abdrakhmanov.
