She emphasized that there had previously been a suggestion to bring this issue to a nationwide discussion, which, in her opinion, could lead to more worthy options from the public.
Talieva called on the Ministry of Culture to improve the process of collecting and selecting projects. She pointed out that the lack of suitable options from such a large number of proposals indicates the need for more careful and thorough work.
According to her, this issue requires a serious approach, and the parliament will have to make an important decision, so the members of the relevant committee should be more active in this work.
Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu added that both individual citizens and creative groups could join in the development of options. He also mentioned that if satisfactory proposals are not received by June 1, the deadlines could be extended, for example, until September.
Turgunbek uulu emphasized that this issue must be approached with full seriousness, as it concerns a significant decision that the parliament will make.
