
Samarkbek Bolotbekov has been appointed as the deputy director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia," which is part of the new personnel decisions by the leadership.
According to the state enterprise, this appointment is aimed at strengthening the management team and improving the legal support for the organization's activities, which should contribute to increasing the efficiency and transparency of the centralized procurement processes for medicines and medical devices for healthcare institutions.
Samarkbek Bolotbekov is a graduate of the International University of Kyrgyzstan with a degree in "Jurisprudence" with honors and holds a master's degree in international law. He is also a candidate of political sciences and has a lawyer's license.
His professional experience includes management in government structures, including positions as the head of the Sverdlovsk district administration of Bishkek, the mayor of Naryn, and the director of the department of individual housing construction in Bishkek.
In addition, Bolotbekov is the founder and head of the legal company "Lux-Consult," as well as an expert and consultant for several international and public projects in the field of law and development.
It was recently announced that the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia" is now headed by historian and diplomat Bolot Junusov.
It should be noted that there have been repeated complaints about the activities of "Kyrgyzpharmacia" from patients and the public. The organization itself acknowledges the existence of problems but notes that there are often situations where requests from hospitals are submitted late or contain errors.
The Ministry of Health has decided to conduct an audit of the state enterprise.
It is also worth mentioning that up to 95% of medications in the republic are purchased through imports.
