In Naryn, at the central market, a new municipal store specializing in meat sales was opened on January 29, 2026. It offers products produced by local farmers without intermediaries, which is an important step, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The store's assortment includes quality and safe meat sold at prices lower than market rates. This initiative aims to ensure food accessibility for citizens, especially for socially vulnerable groups, and to combat unjustified price increases for meat products.
Creating conditions for farmers allows them to sell their products directly, reducing the number of intermediaries and establishing a direct connection between producers and consumers.
Similar retail outlets are also planned to be opened in other regions of the country.
The Ministry emphasized that this initiative is being implemented in accordance with the directive of Minister Bakyt Torobaev, aimed at stabilizing meat prices.
