In connection with the threat of the spread of the Nipah virus, serious infection control measures have been implemented at "Manas" airport, as reported by the State Enterprise "Airports of Kyrgyzstan".
These measures are aimed at preventing infectious diseases and enhancing safety.
Modern equipment for real-time body temperature measurement has been installed at the airport. It was purchased back in 2021 but remains relevant in light of the current international situation.
In addition, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has imposed a temporary ban on the import of animals and products from India.
It should be noted that neighboring countries, such as Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, have also introduced additional safety measures in connection with the virus.
