Former presidents did not have a clear development plan for the country - Niyazov

No former president of Kyrgyzstan has developed a clear plan for the further development of the country. This was stated by Miroslav Niyazov, who held the position of Secretary of the Security Council, in a documentary film titled "Five Years - The Beginning of a New Era."
He noted that with the arrival of the current leadership, there is an active fight against corruption and organized crime.
"In addition, many construction projects are being implemented in the country, including roads, buildings, and residential complexes. Frankly speaking, I am amazed that many employees who previously did not have their own housing can now afford apartments that were purchased through preferential mortgages," Niyazov added.
He also discussed the issue of borders, emphasizing that resolving border issues is an extremely complex process.
"These tasks are very labor-intensive. Some states resolve their border disputes over 50–80 years. I myself have experience working as an ambassador in Tajikistan and remember how the situation escalated, leading not only to conflicts between the military but also to clashes among the civilian population on both sides. This had a negative impact on the lives of ordinary people," he noted.
