Former Secretary of the Security Council Miroslav Niyazov, in the documentary film "Five Years — The Beginning of a New Era," shared his opinion that none of the presidents he worked with, starting from Askar Akayev, achieved the successes of the current leaders. He expressed support for both Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev, noting their accomplishments.
According to Niyazov, an active fight against corruption has begun in the country, which is noticeable to the entire Kyrgyz people. He emphasized that this initiative is absolutely necessary; otherwise, the republic could face serious consequences. "This fight should have started much earlier, and unfortunately, it did not happen," he added, highlighting the importance of these changes.
