Addressing President Sadyr Japarov, Kokulov noted that only 4-5 people in his team are genuinely working, while the others merely pretend to be busy. He cited the example of the construction of a three-story building on Chuy Avenue.
“In the center of Bishkek, businessman Nariman Tyuleev presented a project for a two-story building, but ultimately built a three-story one. And this is happening right in the heart of the capital! Kamchybek Kadyrshaevich himself halted the construction. Don’t we have other people capable of taking on such responsibility? Why is it necessary for the president or Kamchybek Kadyrshaevich to intervene personally? What are government agencies doing then? What are they being paid for when such violations occur in the center of Kyrgyzstan? If you are unable to resolve such issues, you should step down from your position. I want to say to the state services: besides President Sadyr Nurgozhoevich, there is also the Kyrgyz people who are looking at you. We all work for this people,” the deputy emphasized.
It is worth noting that in early January, work began on demolishing the third floor of the building under construction near the Central Department Store (TsUM).
