At the parliamentary meeting on January 29, Akayev noted that dissatisfaction among citizens regarding the new rules for obtaining driver's licenses and the sharp rise in prices is growing. He emphasized the need to invite cabinet members to the parliamentary meeting to discuss these issues.

“There are many questions for the cabinet regarding driver's licenses and price increases, which is causing public discontent. Reforms should not be conducted in this manner. These are not real reforms, but 'ephemeral reforms,'” the deputy stated.

Akayev added that they are ready to share the experiences of other countries and useful literature on conducting reforms with the government headed by the Prime Minister.
