Open boiler room, unprotected pit, and unsanitary conditions
In Bishkek, at the private school "Kreativ Taalim," serious violations of safety standards threatening the life and health of students have been identified. These issues were discovered on January 28, 2026, as a result of an inspection conducted by a working group responding to local residents' complaints, according to information published by the city hall's press service.
During the inspection, it was found that the boiler room, which is a high-risk facility, had unrestricted access. Additionally, there was an open pit on the school grounds that lacked protective barriers or warning signs.
“Unsanitary conditions are observed in the area adjacent to the school. Necessary barriers and restrictive measures are virtually absent, which poses a danger to children and increases the risk of injuries. Furthermore, the institution uses equipment that does not have purification systems for filtering emissions from burning solid fuel, which, according to the inspectors, negatively affects the environment and does not meet modern standards,” the statement said.
Problems were also found inside the educational institution. The rooms on the third floor, where classes are held, do not meet fire and sanitary safety requirements. The school administration was unable to provide a previously issued directive, raising additional doubts about compliance with norms and regulations.
As a result of the inspection, the school was tasked with promptly addressing the identified violations, bringing the territory and educational premises to a safe condition, and securing particularly dangerous areas. There is a need to take measures to ensure the safety of children in the coming days.
If the requirements are not met, measures may be taken against the school in accordance with current legislation, which may include appeals to the relevant state authorities and checks for compliance with licensing norms.
