To develop next-generation textbooks, the Ministry of Education held a competition for authors and developers. These textbooks are being created as part of the country's transition to a 12-year educational model.
The competition consisted of two stages: in the first stage, the commission evaluated the participants' resumes, their experience, as well as their scientific and methodological works to determine their professional skills. In the second stage, candidates presented their projects in both offline and online formats.
The selection results are as follows:
- For geography, 10 applications were submitted, and all 10 authors were selected;
- For history, out of 16 submitted applications, 8 authors were chosen;
- For the Kyrgyz language, 5 authors were selected from 24 submitted applications.
