On January 28, a meeting was held in Kara-Kul with representatives of the business sector working in public catering. This was reported by the press center of the city administration.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Manas Abdykalikov and the head of the city department of the State Tax Service for the Jalal-Abad region, Talaybek Umetov.

During the event, changes to the government decree of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 560, adopted in September 2014, concerning the regulation of trade in the country were discussed.

The participants were given detailed explanations of the requirements for open and accurate information on service prices, based on Articles 7 and 27 of the Law "On Consumer Rights Protection," as well as Articles 13 and 17 of the Constitutional Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic."

According to these requirements:

an additional service charge should not be levied;

there should be no separate charge for waiter services, table setting, or delivery;

all prices must be clearly stated in the menu or price list;

the final amount paid by the customer should not exceed the price indicated in the menu.

These rules are aimed at protecting consumer rights and preventing misunderstandings between customers and entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, participants asked questions and received comprehensive answers.
