During the inspection of postal shipments at the "Northern" railway customs, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Smuggling discovered synthetic fishing nets weighing 11.80 kg, which are prohibited for import into the territory of Kyrgyzstan. These shipments arrived from the People's Republic of China.
According to information from the State Customs Service (SCS), a representative of the company OsOO "R.K." stated that he was unaware of the existing ban on the import of this type of goods.
In this case, there are signs of an offense in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan. The matter will be considered in the established manner.
These actions are being carried out as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 131 "On Urgent Measures to Preserve the Ecology of Lake Issyk-Kul," as well as in accordance with the instructions of the State Customs Service.
