In Bazar-Korgon, with a population of 200,000, there are only 3 ambulances.
Subankulov noted that the issue of ambulance shortages is actively being discussed. "The need to update the vehicle fleet has become urgent. In our district, there are three ambulance stations: one in the Arstanbap-Atyn rural area, the second in the village of Oogan-Talaa, and the third in the city of Bazar-Korgon. However, all the vehicles in these stations are heavily worn out, and we are forced to constantly repair them. The last update of the vehicle fleet occurred six years ago when a 'Gazelle Sobol' was purchased. Unfortunately, this vehicle has proven to be unreliable and often breaks down, creating additional problems," he added.
The station located in Bazar-Korgon bears the greatest burden. It provides primary medical care to the majority of local residents. Often, after responding to one call, the team cannot immediately react to the next, which causes dissatisfaction among citizens. We are appealing to local authorities and sponsors for support in updating the vehicle fleet," the chief physician concluded.
In the center for general medical practice, there are nine vehicles, of which two are no longer repairable, and three are under repair. There are also two passenger cars, while the rest are ambulances.
