During the meeting, the parties examined the possibilities of public-private partnerships, as well as attracting foreign investments, focusing on construction and energy — areas where the Chinese company has significant experience.
Sabirov emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in attracting reliable international investors and is ready to create favorable conditions for the implementation of various projects.
He noted: “A new investment law has been adopted in our country, aimed at creating a transparent investment climate. This law ensures the protection of investors' rights and their investments. We are open to attracting direct investments and implementing projects within the framework of PPP.”
As part of the discussion, several major priority investment projects were presented, including: the construction of the Chatkal Cascade, the Upper Naryn Cascade of hydropower plants, the development of the tourism project “Ala-Too Resort,” the creation of the International Trade and Logistics Center “At-Bashy,” as well as the implementation of the wind power station “Topurak-Bel” and the railway section Turksib — Balikchy, not forgetting the “Asman City” project.
The presented projects sparked lively interest from the Chinese delegation, and during the discussions, various formats of participation for companies in the implementation of both infrastructure and development components were considered, including PPP mechanisms and direct investments.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further dialogue and the development of specific areas of cooperation, including projects in construction, energy, and urban infrastructure.
