According to Tumonbaev, the information provided by Oruntaev sparked active discussion in society.
At a recent session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Akylbek Tumonbaev noted that the data announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Nurdin Oruntaev regarding the salaries of employees in the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Construction reached 500,000 soms and caused public outrage.
“Citizens report that such high salaries contribute to the rise in housing prices. Meanwhile, teachers, doctors, and other professionals earn about 30,000 soms, while some employees boast incomes of 500,000 soms. This requires the committee's attention,” said Tumonbaev.
The deputy urged the relevant committee to investigate the reasons for such high salaries among the employees of the Ministry of Construction.
