A requiem rally was held in the city of Osh to mark the 82nd anniversary of the complete lifting of the blockade of Leningrad. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

Representatives of various organizations attended the event, including the Osh city administration, the Consulate General of Russia, the Russian House, the Council of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan, the Assembly of Friendship of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan, and other public associations, as well as schoolchildren.

The event began with the laying of wreaths at the "Eternal Flame," where participants honored the memory of the fallen with a moment of silence. The participants emphasized that the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad holds special significance for the residents of Osh.

During the event, everyone was invited to participate in a memory action by trying a piece of bread, which became a symbol of the daily ration of Leningrad residents during those difficult times. The event concluded with the laying of flowers at the memorial.
