According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, during the meeting, the minister expressed gratitude to Artykbaev for his significant contribution to the development of relations between the two countries. She noted that this diplomat, being the first ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Mongolia, played an important role in strengthening bilateral cooperation, which allowed to elevate intergovernmental relations to the level of "comprehensive partnership".
In a sign of respect and appreciation, Battsetseg presented Aybek Artykbaev with the honorary award "Altyn Gerege" from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, also wishing him success in his future endeavors.
Aybek Artykbaev, for his part, thanked the government of Mongolia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the people of Mongolia for their support and warm attitude throughout his tenure.
It is important to note that diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia were established on April 22, 1992, and starting in 2025, the countries plan to develop cooperation within the framework of "comprehensive partnership".
