Several clients of Bishkekgaz contacted the Kaktus.media call center, expressing dissatisfaction with the long queues in the department responsible for replacing gas meters.
According to the subscribers, the commission that handles the meter verification works only once a week — on Tuesdays, and only from 1 PM.
People who need to replace gas meters (for example, in case of battery discharge or malfunction) start lining up from 8 AM. By 2-3 PM, there are already more than 100 people in line, with each client taking about 10 minutes. Some of them wait for weeks to get to the commission," the subscribers report.


Instead of hiring several security guards, it would be better to add a few metrologists.

Additionally, on January 27, the situation became even more complicated, as the chief engineer was either absent or in a meeting, and his presence is mandatory for the commission's work.

According to information provided by Kaktus.media, Tuesdays are indeed designated for the gas meter verification commission at the 'Bishkekgaz' branch. The commission starts working at 1 PM. "During the heating season, we observe an increase in the number of inquiries from subscribers, which sometimes leads to conflict situations. Nevertheless, the commission serves all clients without exception throughout the day. Currently, the situation has normalized, and all arriving subscribers will be served," the company assured.
