The training of teaching staff was discussed at the Ministry of Education with Edil Baysalov.
According to information from the ministry's press service, high-ranking officials participated in the event, including Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, and Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations Gulzat Isamatova, as well as rectors and representatives of universities preparing teachers.

The discussion addressed not only issues of professional development but also the organization of educational events related to new state and subject standards, as well as the need to improve pedagogical and methodological support.
Among other topics, questions were raised about attracting international experts and trainers, supporting students studying in pedagogical fields, and preparing teachers proficient in English in the STEM area.
Edil Baisalov emphasized that teachers play a central role in the education system and called for the training of educators and their professional development to become key areas of state policy. He also highlighted the importance of collaborative work among all participants in this process.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva added that universities preparing teachers should become leaders in transforming the system of teacher training.
It was previously reported that there is a shortage of 761 teachers in schools in Kyrgyzstan, according to the Ministry of Education as of December 2025. The greatest deficit is observed among teachers of mathematics, music, Russian language and literature, physics, history, chemistry, and geography.
