The mayor emphasized the need for expedited procurement and installation of GPS trackers on all municipal buses. He noted that this measure would ensure constant monitoring of public transport movement and allow for prompt responses to identified violations.
In addition, the municipality plans to conduct timing of routes, which will provide the opportunity to record actual travel intervals and provide up-to-date information to the public about the schedule. There is also an emphasis on the need for explanatory work regarding the rules and procedures for the functioning of urban public transport.
The mayor's office added that the implementation of digital technologies will increase the transparency of transportation and help reduce the number of complaints from passengers.
