On January 26, State Secretary Arslan Koichiev visited the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic, named after Academician T. Sadykov. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
During his visit, he discussed the current state of the academy, educational processes, and the prospects for the development of visual arts in the country. Koichiev emphasized the importance of the academy and art in cultural life, highlighting the significance of their popularization and educational role in society.
He noted that the development of young talents is crucial for forming a positive image of the Kyrgyz Republic on the international stage.
Additionally, Arslan Koichiev pointed out some issues faced by the academy, particularly the need for major repairs and the expansion of the student dormitory.

Currently, the dormitory does not meet international standards for foreign students, which creates difficulties for implementing student exchange programs.
During the discussion, proposals from foreign countries regarding student exchange were also voiced, which requires improving conditions for its implementation.
At the end of the meeting, Koichiev noted that all the issues raised would be under the control of the state, and necessary support would be provided.
