The European Union has launched an investigation into Grok's stripping deepfakes
In a recent post on X, shared on the X Safety page, it is specified that the social network has banned such "strip" processing of photographs in regions where it is considered illegal.
However, activists and victims have expressed the opinion that the ability to generate sexualized images using this tool should not have existed in the first place.
If X is found guilty of violating the European Digital Services Act, the company could face a fine of up to 6% of its global revenue.
