In Kyrgyzstan, 14.6 thousand cases of ARVI and influenza recorded in a week

From January 19 to 25, Kyrgyzstan registered 14,607 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza, as reported by 24.kg citing the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.

Experts note that compared to the previous week, the incidence rate has decreased by 7.9 percent.

Among the infected, 72.4 percent are children under 14 years old.
Medical workers continue to monitor the situation with severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses in cities such as Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.

Doctors strongly recommend that the population observe precautionary measures, avoid crowded places, and refrain from self-medication, instead seeking assistance at local clinics if necessary.
