Changes in the HOA in Kyrgyzstan Will Require Only 10% of Votes
Members of the homeowners' association are now required to provide information about themselves to the registry
Amendments to the legislation in Kyrgyzstan, submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh, simplify the process of forming an initiative group in homeowners' associations, as now only 10% of votes will be sufficient for this.
Additionally, the creation of a registry is planned, in which homeowners will need to submit their data. This information will be collected annually by the authorized body.
Other changes include the requirement for notarization of the signatures of homeowners' association members, the conduct of mandatory meetings in person, as well as extending the powers of the homeowners' association board to three years.
