Germany is ready to expand investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan
Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy, held meetings with representatives of the German Foreign Ministry and the Ambassador of Germany
During a recent meeting, Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, discussed issues with Niklas Wagner, the German Foreign Ministry's Commissioner for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia, as well as with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan, Monica Lenhard.
The main topic of discussion was attracting investments from Germany into the economy of Kyrgyzstan. The participants of the meeting considered options for deepening trade and economic cooperation and implementing joint projects in industrial and other priority areas.
Attention was also given to youth training, including the development of vocational education programs with the involvement of German partners. Environmental initiatives were discussed, with an emphasis on interest in implementing sustainable projects and introducing modern technologies.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen economic partnership and continue dialogue on specific investment initiatives. The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, opening new opportunities for Kyrgyz-German cooperation.
