New measures will come into effect on January 1, 2026
A new resolution has been adopted that increases the number of theater and entertainment workers eligible for retirement benefits due to special working conditions. This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy.
This document was developed in accordance with the Law on "State Pension Social Insurance" and aims to improve the social protection of cultural sector workers, taking into account the specifics of their professional activities.
The updated list includes ballet artists, performers of dance numbers in professional artistic collectives, as well as artists of mime and gesture theaters.
The previous government resolution, adopted on December 1, 1997, under number 694, has also been revoked.
