The deputy found cockroaches in the "Aurora". Response from the sanatorium's press service
In response, the press service of the sanatorium stated that work is currently underway for phased renovations. They noted that a major renovation has not been conducted since the institution's opening, and the ongoing work represents the first significant update in its entire operational period. Previous work had been done on the facades of buildings and some infrastructure facilities. Currently, renovations of public areas are ongoing, and a major renovation of the living quarters is scheduled to begin in March of this year. All work is being carried out without interrupting the main activities of the sanatorium.
The camera captured the changing rooms and storage areas of the dining hall, which are currently not being used for their intended purpose and are involved in the renovation process. In these areas, construction materials and tools are temporarily stored, and work is being conducted according to an approved plan.
The deputy's address also highlighted the presence of cockroaches. The administration of the sanatorium clarified that the video was filmed in storage areas during the renovation, not in the operating kitchen or guest hall. Temporary sanitary violations may occur during renovations, but this does not reflect the overall health condition of the institution. Cockroaches, therefore, became an element of the content filmed during the renovation work, and a complete sanitary treatment of these areas will be conducted after the work is completed,” the press service stated.
The video also included statements that individual citizens had approached the deputy.
“As a result of an internal investigation, it was found that these were former employees who resigned voluntarily due to violations of internal regulations, including improper actions with food products. These circumstances were documented in the established manner,” the administration added.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that the sanatorium's revenues are growing annually. In 2023, they amounted to over 140 million soms, and in 2024, an increase to 170 million is expected, and in 2025 — to 239 million.
This positive trend has been made possible by the implementation of digital technologies, accounting systems, control and management systems, as well as increased transparency of processes. The increase in revenues allows for the gradual financing of renovation work and infrastructure modernization.
It was also clarified that the Aurora Green and Aurora Plus facilities, which were previously unfinished, are now fully completed and meet modern requirements. Currently, the cottages are operational and in proper condition.
The administration emphasizes that all work is being carried out in phases and is under control. The sanatorium is being updated systematically, and arising issues are addressed in a working order.
The management showed a video demonstrating the ongoing renovation work and plans for the modernization of "Aurora" in the future.
