More than 6000 packs of tobacco products were found at the central market
During tax control raids, employees of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic uncovered illegal circulation of tobacco products in Manas.
In one of the hidden rooms of the central market, a large batch consisting of 6012 packs of cigarettes was discovered. The estimated value of the seized goods amounted to 721,440 soms.
The tobacco products lacked excise stamps and the necessary accompanying documents, which violates the laws of the country.
All necessary documents were prepared at the scene. Currently, the materials are being prepared for transfer to law enforcement agencies, which will conduct a legal assessment and make a decision on the case.
