On January 23, the press service of the Bishkek City Hall commented on the request of Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva, in which she asked for clarification on the status of Sheralieva Street and plans for the repair of Krylova Street.
In its response, the city hall reported that the design of Sheralieva Street, which will run from Akhunbaeva Street to Gagarina Street and connect with Termechikova Street, is already included in various urban planning documents. These plans were established in the General Plan of 1970, the detailed planning project of 1982, and the current General Plan of Bishkek for the period from 2006 to 2025.

The municipality also noted that similar plans for the development of the street and road network exist in other districts of the capital. In the new General Plan, these decisions remain among the long-term prospects for the city's infrastructure development.

Furthermore, it was clarified that detailed calculations of financial costs and the number of houses subject to demolition will be made at the stage of practical implementation of the project, which will begin with the development of architectural and urban planning conclusions. These calculations, as emphasized by the city hall, are not included in the General Plan.

At the moment, according to the city hall, there are no plans for the implementation of the project in the near future.

As for Krylova Street, located in the Lenin District, the city hall reported that repair work will resume this year, weather permitting.
