According to Ashimbaeva, from its introduction in 2001 until its abolition in 2017, this title was awarded to 25 educators, and today only seven of them are still alive.
Since 2017, the title of "People's Teacher" has been abolished, while the title of "Honored Teacher" continues to exist.
Ashimbaeva emphasizes that the teaching profession holds a high social status, reflecting societal recognition and attracting talented individuals, which is due to high professionalism, love for children, and the ability to inspire.
