According to the new provisions, which clarify the norms of resolution No. 522 dated August 23, 2025, access to such medications is now being expanded. Previously, it was available exclusively to state medical institutions, but now the right to purchase will be granted to all medical organizations, regardless of their ownership form.
The changes affect points 2, 5, 7, and 8 of the approved procedure, where the term "state healthcare organizations" will be replaced with "healthcare organizations regardless of ownership form."
The document also emphasizes that the Ministry of Health will need to take the necessary measures to implement the new resolution while adhering to the approved budget.
Let us remind you that the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 23, 2025, approved the procedure for forming a special list of medicines and medical devices that can be temporarily imported and used without state registration in exceptional cases, which is particularly relevant in situations of shortage of vital medications or the absence of registered analogs.
