According to the information from the statistical agency, 166,175.3 million soms were invested in the construction of residential and social facilities in the country.
The lion's share of new housing came from the private sector — 14,944 units with a total area of 1,814.4 thousand square meters, which corresponds to a growth of 117.2% compared to 2024. Within the framework of individual construction, 9,688 housing units were commissioned with an area of 1,323.2 thousand square meters, which amounted to 111.8% of the previous year's level.
Analyzing the data by regions, the highest number of constructed housing units was recorded in Bishkek, where 1,849 units with a total area of 338.6 thousand square meters were commissioned, corresponding to 117.6% compared to 2024.
In other regions, the figures are distributed as follows:
Jalal-Abad region — 2,277 units with a total area of 253.5 thousand square meters, which is 90.1% of the 2024 level;
Osh region — 1,674 units with a total area of 206.4 thousand square meters, which is 120.5% of the 2024 level;
Chui region — 1,621 housing units with a total area of 215.8 thousand square meters, which corresponds to 146.8% of the 2024 level;
Talas region — 610 units with a total area of 80.8 thousand square meters, which is 96.5% of the 2024 level;
Issyk-Kul region — 609 units with a total area of 86.3 thousand square meters, which is 106.8% of the 2024 level;
Batken region — 542 units with a total area of 71.2 thousand square meters, which is 104.4% of the 2024 level;
Naryn region — 301 units with a total area of 36.2 thousand square meters, which is 126.6% of the 2024 level;
City of Osh — 205 housing units with a total area of 34.4 thousand square meters, which is 98.3% of the 2024 level.
Additionally, in 2025, social infrastructure facilities were also built in the republic. In particular, 53 general education schools were put into operation, designed for 15,192 students, with investments amounting to 11,788.6 million soms. Also, 43 preschool institutions were opened for 4,025 places, for which 4,136.9 million soms were invested.
Furthermore, 10 hospitals with 463 beds were constructed with investments of 1,893.1 million soms, as well as 32 outpatient clinics designed for 634 visits per shift, for which 520.8 million soms were allocated.
