The Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan (FPUK) has announced the launch of a discount program aimed at supporting its members. This project was presented at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency by the chairman of the FPUK, Muradil Jumadilde uulu.
According to Jumadilde uulu, union members who have successfully completed electronic registration can now take advantage of discount cards. These cards provide discounts at various establishments across the country. Currently, the union has signed about 400 agreements with entrepreneurs who are willing to offer benefits to their members.
“This project is a bonus system. We focus on issues of labor protection, safety, and wages,” emphasized the chairman of the FPUK.
He also reminded that the trade union in Kyrgyzstan was founded 120 years ago, and its main goal has always been the demand for an eight-hour workday and decent wages. A significant achievement of 2025 was a new government decree regarding the increase in daily travel allowances. Previously, the daily allowance was 500 soms for trips to regions and 600 soms for business trips to Bishkek, but now this amount has been increased to 1,000 soms for regions and 1,200 soms for the capital.
“Our task also includes raising the minimum wage level. Currently, the minimum pension is about 7,000 soms, and the minimum subsistence level is also approximately 7,000 soms. We propose that the minimum wage corresponds to this subsistence level. The average wage has increased, and we are currently analyzing which sectors and professions require an increase,” added Muradil Jumadilde uulu.
