The Ministry of Labor explained how the rights of remote workers are protected

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Ulukbek Karybek uulu raised the issue of measures to protect the rights of workers engaged in remote work. He addressed the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, Kamchybek Dosmatov.
Dosmatov replied that the concept of "remote work" has recently been introduced into the labor code. This innovation will allow for the conclusion of employment contracts between employers and employees, taking into account new realities.
"The labor code was adopted in 2004, and since then new professions have emerged in the labor market, as well as the need for the term 'remote work'," he added.
The deputy also inquired about who would be responsible for protecting employees' rights in the event of violations by employers. In response, Dosmatov stated that a Labor Rights Protection Service operates within the ministry, which will address such issues.
