At the parliamentary session, Deputy Marlen Mamataliev proposed an initiative to revise the legislation regarding wage payments for workers who labor at night. According to current regulations, they receive double pay.

During the discussion of the law "On Labor Protection," Mamataliev's colleague, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev, expressed the opinion that the city administration should stop sending "Tazalyk" workers to the roads at night.

“It is unsafe. In the 21st century, special equipment should be used. It is better to abandon the practice of having employees work on the roads,” he stated.

Mamataliev, for his part, emphasized that "Tazalyk" workers and road repairmen should have the opportunity to work at night.

“During the day, traffic jams are created, and roads are closed. Abroad, such work is done at night. I found out that this is impossible for us due to the need to pay double rates. Why not change this?” the deputy questioned.

Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kamchibek Dosmatov responded that the ministry would study the issue.
