During the meeting, Deputy Ulugbek Karybek uulu expressed the opinion that representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the State Antimonopoly Agency, and the company "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" should be invited to discuss the current situation regarding high gas bills.

He noted that many subscribers are expressing dissatisfaction with the suddenly increased amounts on their bills. In his opinion, this issue requires detailed analysis.

Karybek uulu explained that in October and November, the company was unable to correctly record the readings, which led to subscribers receiving bills for three months at once. The official response mentions failures in the telemetry system, which resulted in real data not being accounted for, and after the system was restored, bills were issued for three months. "I propose to issue a directive to hear their report. There are families with many children, pensioners, and low-income citizens—all of them received exorbitant bills," the deputy added.

Chairman Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu supported this proposal, emphasizing the relevance of the issue and asking the relevant committee to prepare an appropriate resolution.
