Residents of Bishkek are invited to the exhibition "Another Landscape. Art, History, Ecology"
The exhibition will focus on exploring the representation of landscape in the works of artists from 1940 until the period of the country's independence.

“We have divided the exhibits into five thematic blocks to demonstrate how different artists from Kyrgyzstan have interpreted the genre of landscape in various eras and contexts. Modern works have also been added to the pieces from the museum's collections,” the museum reports.
The exhibition will not be limited to just painting and graphics; it will also feature photographs and video materials that highlight the consequences of urbanization and industrialization, particularly the harm caused to the environment.
