During his visit, the presidential envoy to the Issyk-Kul region met with the hockey team and learned about its activities.
During the meeting, he noted that the team would receive state support and promised to provide 11 athletes with modern sports equipment and uniforms. Additionally, there are plans to create a special ice arena for training.
The team's coach, Salamat Abdyrahmanov, spoke about how the girls learned to play hockey on frozen ice in their home conditions and continue to train despite all the difficulties.
“Thank you for the support. But if we are just given an ice rink, we will only be able to play and train in winter. It would be great if an artificial ice rink and a gym were built for us so that we could train year-round. I hope our future plans will be taken into account,” noted coach S. Abdyrahmanov.
