What facilities are being built in the seven districts of Osh Region?
This information was confirmed by the head of the department, Damir Kalykberdiev.
According to him, more than 30 facilities are subject to complete capital repairs, and 44 of them have already been put into operation. In 2026, it is planned to complete another 36 facilities.
In the past year, cost estimates were developed for more than 60 projects, and all work was carried out within the framework of the plan approved by the Ministry.
Facilities that were fully completed and put into operation in 2025:
• 12 schools;
• 12 kindergartens;
• 3 facilities for providing clean water;
• 12 capital repair facilities.
These social facilities were created with modern requirements in mind and are aimed at meeting the needs of the local population.
In 2025, the construction of 70 facilities was started, which were not completed in time and were carried over to 2026. Currently, work is ongoing in seven districts of the Osh region. Due to adverse weather conditions, outdoor work has been temporarily halted, but indoor work continues.
Construction work by districts:
• Alai District – 4 schools, 3 sports halls, 2 kindergartens, 1 hospital;
• Aravan District – 7 schools;
• Kara-Kulja District – 5 schools, 3 sports halls, 1 FAP, 1 kindergarten;
• Kara-Suu District – 3 schools, 4 kindergartens, 2 sports halls, 1 music school;
• Nookat District – 4 schools, 3 kindergartens, 2 hospitals, 2 sports facilities;
• Uzgen District – 10 schools, 5 kindergartens, 1 FAP, and other facilities;
• Chon-Alai District – 1 sports hall and 1 hospital;
Plans for 2026:
It is planned to complete 36 construction projects, including:
• 13 schools;
• 8 kindergartens;
• 10 sports halls;
• 2 hospitals;
• 1 FAP;
• 1 music educational institution.
In addition, capital repairs are planned for 12 facilities. Depending on the proposals received from the districts, the number of construction projects may be increased.
“We have fully taken into account emergency facilities and those requiring capital repairs, and we are conducting design work. Active cooperation is underway with the Architectural and Construction Control Department in this direction,” added D. Kalykberdiev.
