Mothers of children with disabilities appealed to Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev

They are wondering how one can survive on a monthly allowance of 8,000 soms.


A group of mothers of children with disabilities has appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, expressing their concerns in a video message published on the "Sokol.Media" platform.
According to the women, they receive only 8,000 soms a month from the government as an allowance, which is completely insufficient for the full treatment of their children. They emphasized that many necessary medications are very expensive, and some of them are even impossible to find in pharmacy networks. As a result, mothers have to search for medications on their own through specialized groups.

The women also noted serious difficulties with housing. They claim that landlords refuse to rent apartments to families with children with disabilities.

“The amount of 8,000 soms a month for the allowance does not allow us to cover even basic needs. Medications are very costly, and finding suitable housing with children is a real problem. We are seeking help to resolve these issues,” their appeal states.

Previously, a video with a similar appeal from mothers to President Sadyr Japarov had already appeared on social media.
