At a recent meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova emphasized the critical situation related to the illegal drug trade.
She noted that law enforcement agencies are taking certain steps to combat this problem, but the prosecutor's office must also actively participate in these efforts.
“Minors under the age of 16 are becoming involved in the distribution of synthetic drugs, which poses a serious threat. Urgent measures are needed from the government, efforts must be combined with those of the special services, and work should be organized in cooperation with all ministries, including the ministries of education and health. This threat spreads like a cancerous tumor that metastasizes. There is a targeted effort aimed at making the younger generation dependent on synthetic drugs,” Kozhokulova emphasized.
