Residents of Kazarman Ask to Lower Airfare Prices
Deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev raised the issue of high air ticket prices for residents of the village of Kazarman at a recent session of the Jogorku Kenesh, who are asking to lower the fares for the Bishkek-Kazarman route.
According to him, the current ticket price on the Bishkek-Naryn route is 2100 soms.
“Local residents are asking to reduce the cost from 3100 soms to 2100 soms. It is necessary to instruct the Ministry of Transport to conduct calculations based on the distance,” the deputy added.
In addition, Sydygaliev also touched upon the issue of safety on the alternative North-South highway, mentioning the problem of avalanches on sections 260, 261, 257, and 284 km, located between Jumgal and Kazarman.
“This problem needs to be resolved before the road opens; it may require the construction of galleries,” he noted.
The deputy also emphasized the importance of installing a traffic light and surveillance cameras at the turn in the Boom Gorge, where traffic jams frequently occur on the way to the Naryn region.
