In a recent podcast by the "Kabar" agency, Aibek Junushaliev, the mayor of the capital, addressed the topic of criticism and negative comments on social media for the first time, sharing how it affects his family.

He noted that many commentators write unfounded and superficial things, hiding behind anonymous accounts and considering themselves experts on all matters.

“Sometimes you wonder if the people leaving such comments have their own relatives, children, or friends? It’s one thing if their words only hurt me. But sometimes, I come home and see that my eldest daughter is gloomy. I immediately understand that she has read negative comments about me online, and it hurts her. People write all sorts of nonsense while hiding behind 'private' profiles. However, life is a boomerang. Everything they do will inevitably come back to them,” said the mayor.
Aibek Junushaliev also emphasized his readiness for constructive dialogue if the criticism is justified. “If real shortcomings are pointed out, I take it adequately. But when they start attacking my personality for no reason—that’s wrong,” he added.

The mayor noted that he himself does not pay attention to negative comments, as he is aware of the real state of affairs, but it is difficult for his family.

“I understand everything and do not react to criticism. But my family is not always aware. It hurts to see my daughters' moods deteriorate because of this. It’s sad when my wife ends up upset in another room after reading yet another wave of hate. It’s hard for my loved ones,” the mayor admitted.
In conclusion, the mayor emphasized that overcoming any difficulties and the pressure of information can only be achieved through hard work and real actions.
