At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Burun Amanova emphasized the need to increase control over imported sweets and snacks.

According to her, parents often approach her with concerns about the large number of foreign sweets, especially in stores located near educational institutions.

She noted: "Parents report that they cannot always monitor what candies and toys their children are purchasing. They are worried about whether the sanitary and epidemiological service checks such products as they enter the country and which organizations issue permits for their sale."
