Bekeshev: Business universities canceled on "nb," and they sharply increased contracts

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev reported that universities have significantly increased the cost of contracts.

He noted that the cancellation of business on "nb" and passes did not prevent universities from sharply raising the amount of contracts.

“Moreover, they charge for each credit. This could lead to the destruction of higher education. Everything is becoming more expensive, and many cannot afford to study,” Bekeshev emphasized, adding that he wants to see the regulatory documents based on which universities form their revenues.
