In Bishkek, law enforcement officials have begun an investigation into a group of young people who mocked the Kyrgyz language on their social media. This was reported by the press service of the capital's Internal Affairs Directorate.

It has become known that a video appeared on the internet in which the Kyrgyz language is ridiculed, causing a wide public outcry.

“This incident has been registered in the automated information system of the Internal Affairs Directorate, and a preliminary investigation has been initiated. Employees of the Special Police Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, together with the State National Security Committee, conducted operational activities and identified the individuals captured in the video. They are T. K., S. S., and M. M., all born in 1991. They were taken to the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Directorate, where they apologized to the public. Currently, examinations have been appointed for a legal assessment of their actions, and the investigation is ongoing. A decision will be made based on the results in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan,” the official statement reads.
